Это его ресурсы, которые складываются из двух частей: собственного капитала и средств, полученных банком от вкладчиков (эти средства называются «привлечеными»). Особенность банков в том, что их собственный капитал, как правило, составляет очень небольшую долю банковских ресурсов, примерно 10%, зато привлеченные средства — более 90%. Получается, что банк преимущественно работает на чужом капитале — этим он отличается от других фирм или предприятий.
